Diversity & Inclusion
Advancing diversity and inclusion at all levels within TIPS
The Financial Literacy Project
The FLP is a free, online curriculum comprised of short, educational videos aimed to help equip and empower individuals in their journey to achieve sustained financial well-being. The FLP is partnership between TIPS and Thomson Reuters.
TIPS Diversity Plan
Diversity strengthens the Section by providing its members with unique and valuable perspectives from exceptionally skilled, knowledgeable and experienced attorneys across a variety of practice areas.
Young Lawyer Vice Chair Program
Each year, TIPS appoints Young Lawyer Vice Chairs to leadership positions in general committees in which they have indicated an interest. This program gives young lawyers exposure to leaders in their field of interest, opportunities to publish, as well as opportunities for professional and business development.
Law Student Vice Chair Program
TIPS appoints Law Student Vice Chairs to each of its substantive law committees. Law Student Vice Chairs may participate in committee planning calls, attend regional and national programs, and provide insight specific to law students.
The Liberty Achievement Award
The Liberty Achievement Award, sponsored by Thomson Reuters, recognizes attorneys and judges who take leadership roles in promoting diversity in the profession of law.
