Approved in August 2001 by the ABA Board of Governors, the Pursuit of Justice Award was established to be presented to a local attorney who has shown outstanding merit and excelled in insuring access to justice. The Section's Council has the authority to make the final decision regarding the recipient of the award each time the award is presented.
