The Tax Section is now accepting applications for the Diversity and Inclusion Scholarships, designed to encourage historically underrepresented attendees of diverse backgrounds to attend and participate in the 2022 Fall Tax Meeting, held October 13 to 15 in Dallas, Texas.
The Section embraces diversity and inclusion in every aspect of its activities, including its meetings. These scholarships defray the cost of meeting attendance, including waiver of the registration fee, up to three nights stay at the host hotel, airfare, and attendance at the Plenary Session Luncheon.
Scholarship recipients will be required to fulfill several duties during and after the meeting, including attendance at certain panels and events, and subsequent reports to the Section’s Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship Selection Committee.
Full eligibility requirements, selection criteria, and recipient duties can be found on the Section’s website, along with a fillable PDF application. Applications are due by Monday, August 29 at 5:00 pm ET.
Applications and questions should be directed to the Section’s Director of Membership, Marketing, & Diversity, Genevieve Borello, at [email protected].
