The Loretta Collins Argrett Leaders Program provides a one-year opportunity for graduating Fellows to remain engaged in the Section. Fellows will fill out an application and be selected to participate from the graduating class (approximately 2-3 Fellows per class).
Loretta Collins Argrett Leaders Program
- Eligibility
- Individuals who were selected for and successfully completed the Argrett Fellowship Program
- Term
- One year (beginning with the conclusion of their Fellowship)
- Benefits
- Dedicated page and profiles (photos and bios) on the ABA Tax Section website
- Assigned mentor within the ABA Tax Section
- Invitations to the Argrett Fellowship Program monthly webinars
- Waiver of annual membership dues for the ABA and Tax Section
- Reduced registration fees to in-person Tax Section meetings
- Invitations to Argrett luncheons at in-person Tax Section meetings
- Waiver of registration fees to virtual Tax Section meetings and webinars
- Engagement (Fellows are encouraged to participate in the Section through suggested activities below)
- Giving Back:
- Active mentorship of a current Argrett Fellow
- Join and participate in the Argrett committee
- Content & Collaboration:
- Membership in at least two Section committees and attendance at meetings of the selected committees during each Section meeting and throughout the year
- Participation in the planning of (and, if possible, speaking on) a Tax Section panel or webinar
- Publication of an article in ABA Tax Times or The Tax Lawyer either as sole author or co-author
- Participation in producing content for People in Tax or other Tax Section podcasts
- Presentation to the Fellowship community on a topic of your choosing
