Beverly McQueary Smith Elected to the House of Delegates

Congratulations to Beverly McQueary Smith, who has just been elected to the House of Delegates as a Delegate-at-Large. A retired law professor who has taught land use law and ethics and legislation, she is a past President of the National Bar Association. She is the Section’s Committee Coordinator for the 2020–2021 Bar Year and will serve on the Council for a term ending in 2024.

Ms. Smith’s bio includes the following: Professor Emerita, Touro Law Center; ABA: Legal Opportunity Scholarship Fund Selection Committee, Coalition for Justice, Advisory Council for African Law Initiative, President’s Task Force on Diversity, Brown at Fifty Commission, Council on Racial and Ethnic Justice in the Educational Pipeline; ABF, Life Member; NCBP, Executive Council; NYSBA, House of Delegates; NY Ethics Commission for Unified Courts; and ALI, Life Member.
