Griffith Receives Lifetime Achievement Award
• public service and achievements in municipal law over the person’s lifetime;
• new and inspiring ideas at municipal attorney programs and initiatives;
• local and national recognition for outstanding contributions to municipal service.
• significant municipal legal accomplishments and demonstrated skill in advocacy as an author; and
• service as an educator.
Those of us who know Ben know that he qualifies on all counts. He is our go-to Section leader on all matters of voting rights and election law and has authored many Section publications on those topics. Please see his article on the pending SCOTUS case on political gerrymandering of election districts in this issue of SLLN. He now finds time as well to teach those topics at the University of Mississippi School of Law. Congratulations, Ben.
