Mission
Our group convenes representatives of government, industry, academia, law practice, and other interested persons to evaluate and propose regulatory, industry, and practical responses to sharing economy businesses, such as short-term rental providers and transportation network companies. The group seeks to facilitate a robust discussion among competing interests in this fast-evolving industry sector. Because of the far-reaching implications of the sharing economy, the group seeks to attract members with a diverse set of interests, which include but are not limited to state and local government law, land use law, labor law, tax law, civil rights law; and consumer protection, among others.
