Regulatory Scheme: Rule 7.2(c)(5) permits statements pertaining to specialty certification if the lawyer is certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization and complies with the Plan of Legal Specialization. For lawyers certified by organizations other than the Louisiana Board of Legal Speicalization or another state bar, lawyers are permitted statements pertaining to specialty certification if the lawyer complies with Section 6.2 of the Plan of Legal Specialization or if they are certified by an organization that is accredited by the American Bar Association and the full name of the certifying organization is included in all communications.
