Laura is Past President of the Garibaldi ADR Inn of Court and past Chair of the Dispute Resolution Sections of the New York State Bar Association and the New Jersey Bar Association. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the College of Commercial Arbitrators, and a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and the New Jersey Academy of Mediators and Arbitrators. She is an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, International Centre for Dispute Resolution, panels of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. She is a Master Mediator for the American Arbitration Association, a member of the global panel for the Center for Effective Dispute Resolution, and certified as a mediator by the International Mediation Institute and as an Online Mediator for http://Mediate.com . She has spoken and written widely on the topic of unconscious biases and their impact on lawyer judgment. Before becoming a full-time neutral, Laura was Chief Litigation Counsel at AT&T and, previously, a partner in the law firm Jenner & Block in Chicago, IL, after clerking for a federal Court of Appeals judge.
