Mr. Timken is a Mediator, Arbitrator, and Special Master (New York 1st Dept.) with a distinguished career spanning three decades in the New York State Judicial System as Principal Law Clerk (1994-2023). During this time, he earned a Master’s Degree in International Dispute Resolution at Fordham Law School (2022) and became a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (2022). In 2023, Nelson retired as a law clerk to embark on a full-time career in Alternative Dispute Resolution. He is a member of the New York State Mediation Pane (Part 146), a Florida Circuit Certified Mediator, and a Qualified New Jersey Rule 1:40 Mediator on the Court Approved Civil Mediator List. Additionally he has been a FINRA Arbitrator since 2018.
