Your Right Brain's Importance To The Rest Of Your Life

By Victoria L. Herring

I was a lawyer for 42 years and of those years, most were spent in the solo practice of law. I found [and find, as I am retired] the law to be interesting, challenging and fulfilling. I’d associate any number of positive terms with my time practicing law, although there were certainly trying times and sad times. On the whole, being a lawyer, particularly in my area of civil rights and discrimination law, has been a wonderful career. However, there does come a time when one’s work just doesn’t provide sufficient personal fulfillment. That’s how I got into photography.
