When I first started to practice law, long, long ago in a place not too far away geographically from where I am now, but far, far, away technologically and philosophically, the idea of practicing law effectively without having a brick and mortar office was fantasy. If I could go back in time and tell the attorneys of the time what the future would look like, they would likely accuse me of having stepped through the looking glass with Alice. I have a long-standing and deeply abiding interest in technology. As a result, I anticipated some of the things that transpired, but certainly not all of them.
