Help Needed for Hurricane Relief

We have watched in horror as three hurricanes have destroyed communities in Texas, the Southeast, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. The ABA’s Standing Committee on Disaster Response and Preparedness has been coordinating and assisting in disaster-relief efforts on behalf of the Association. As part of these efforts, the ABA is working with the Young Lawyers Division and the Louisiana Civil Justice Center, who are coordinating the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico hotlines for disaster legal assistance, as the island currently has limited to no connectivity and electricity.
