A Chance to Travel - Below the Rim: Rafting the Colorado River Through the Grand Canyon

The Colorado River is the lifeblood of the Southwestern United States. It provides water for irrigation and municipal users and is used as a major recreational waterway through the Grand Canyon. My wife, Sallie, and I recently rafted the Colorado River from Lee’s Ferry, Arizona, to the lower end of the Grand Canyon in an eight-day, 242-mile rafting adventure.
