As we age, we go through many changes—some good, some not so good. When it comes to our thinking processes and to our minds, the truth of “use it or lose it” has proven itself time and again. For that reason, I regularly return to the topic of using technology to keep your mind active and to expand your horizons.
In previous columns I have written about some of the things you can use computers and tablets for to help keep your mind active. In this column, I will tell you about some other things you can do with those technologies. I can sum up the focus of this column in one word, “education.”
The evolution of technology has made it very easy for people to advance their knowledge and learn about new subjects ranging from astrology to zoology and including almost every imaginable topic.
