Renee Dopplick offers a review of United Nations and global legal efforts to improve the rights of women.

Honorable Lisette Shirdan-Harris, International Director of the National Association of Women Judges and a judge on the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas,  offers her insights on the issues affecting women both domestically and globally as it pertains to human rights and the courts.

Jaclyn Fortini Laing discusses the ongoing research she has done on human rights issues affecting women and highlight issues that she has seen while producing her weekly update on the most serious human rights challenges facing women globally.

Bruce Horowitz discusses the issues confronting women, specifically rural women in Ecuador, who successfully, ethically and safely use "positive deviance" methods in extortion and coercion situations as a tool to advance the cause of human rights.
