Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Plan Mission Statement

Senior Lawyers Division (SLD), recognizes and embraces the importance of having diversity of race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, national or US regional status, economic status, and historically underrepresented categories in its membership, leadership, programming and projects.

SLD seeks not just to be an open door or a seat at the table but a place for active participation by all who wish to enjoy and grow the Division as a place for education, advocacy and friendship.

SLD supports the ABA Goals to promote full and equal participation in the Association, our profession, and the justice system by all persons and to eliminate bias in the Legal profession and the Justice System.
