Mission Statement
The purpose of the Committee is to communicate about and learn from the work of active Senior Lawyers working in state and local governments in the area of best practices for transitioning to retirement, or moving from one senior position in one jurisdiction to another, as well as serving as a resource for employment and volunteer work for senior or very experienced state and local attorneys as a way of staying active and engaged in meaningful legal work even while effectively retired from the regular office work environment.
