Mobility: Pervasive technology, expanding legal issues

Comic strip Dick Tracy’s first depiction of the use of a state-of-the-art two-way wristwatch radio in 1946 captured the public imagination. One might argue that smartwatches are direct descendants of that fictional innovation that continue to engage our imagination (as well as our day-to-day reality) today. But nearly 75 years after the wristwatch radio burst upon the scene, smartwatches just barely scratch the surface of the revolution in mobile communication.
