The beginning of a new ABA year means the formation of new RPPT committees. The Real Property Division is pleased to announce the addition of the Entertainment, Gaming and Other Related Real Estate Issues Committee. This committee falls under the Hotels, Common Interest and Recreational Communities (Group H) committees. Nancy Appleby of Albuquerque, N.M. will serve as Committee Chair.
The committee will consist of three subcommittees: gaming, entertainment and newsletter. The gaming subcommittee will focus on issues related to traditional casino, riverboat and Indian country gambling, card clubs, horse racing and dog racing. The entertainment subcommittee's topics will encompass stadiums and arenas, multi-purpose facilities, multi-use projects, theater complexes and theme parks. Lastly, the newsletter subcommittee will produce an informative newsletter four times per year. The following committee members will chair the subcommittees: William S. Papazian (gaming), Louis Coffey (entertainment) and Mark A. Smith (newsletter).

1998 Spring CLE and Committee MeetingPlanning ahead for 1998? Don't forget to include the RPPT Ninth Annual Spring CLE and Committee Meeting as part of your ABA plans. The meeting will be held in San Antonio, Texas from May 13-17, 1998. Over 40 CLE programs will be presented in San Antonio along with committee meetings and the annual Committee Chair Orien-tation program.
