Revising the Traditional Property Course: Why and How

In the too-hot summer of 2019, this author made a proposal to this publication for an article about revising the traditional first-year property course. By mistake, the entire Association of American Law Schools Property Section listserv received the proposal, and to my surprise, I received a torrent of responses that were as hot as the season. They were not unanimously negative, but nearly so. I had not yet explained the proposal, but a lot of people had already made up their minds.
