Margaret Kuehne Taylor is passionate about immigration law. She recently retired from her position of Senior Litigation Counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Immigration Litigation (OIL), where she litigated a wide range of immigration-related issues in every federal court of appeals that considers such issues. Ms. Taylor currently serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland Carey School of Law. She teaches an asylum law seminar. Ms. Taylor is a member of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Presidential Commission on Immigration and of the editorial board of the American Immigration Lawyers Association Journal (AILA). She is fluent in Spanish and German.
