A strong voice for the profession, Mr. Orpett has held leadership positions in a number of organizations, serving as a member of the Board of Governors of the American Bar Association, Chair of its Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section and its Standing Committee on Continuing Education of the Bar and as a member of its Presidential Commission on the Unintended Consequences of the Billable Hour. He has been recognized for his legal work as an Illinois Super Lawyer™ and by the Leading Lawyers Network in Illinois.
