    Child Welfare and Immigration Project

    The Child Welfare and Immigration Project supports courts and agencies working with immigrant children, parents, and kin with children in or at risk of entering the dependency system. It helps child welfare and immigration attorneys understand their clients’ legal needs. The project shares practice tools and models, and strengthens connections between the two legal fields.

    Training and Technical Assistance

    Project attorneys provide training to legal and child welfare professionals on the intersection between immigration and child welfare, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), and how judges can work with immigrant children in court.
