Adolescents The Center helps professionals in disciplines that encounter adolescents and their families; addressing the development of organizational infrastructure at national and state levels; and enhancing communication, education and training.
Surveillance and Medical Overreporting of Black, Indigenous, and Latine Families to Child Welfare Continuum This initiative, with support from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, addresses bias and racism in medical reporting of Black and Indigenous families to the child welfare continuum.
Substance Abuse The Center improves understanding of parental substance abuse, psychotropic medication use in children, and fetal alcohol spectrum disorders.
Infants and Toddlers The Center improves child health-related knowledge and skills of attorneys, judges, and other legal professionals who handle cases involving very young children.
Polyvictimization & Trauma The Center addresses trauma-informed legal advocacy and judicial decision-making for polyvictimized children. It provides tools to incorporate trauma knowledge into daily legal practice.
