Real Estate Law
Buying or selling a home is a major life event. For many Americans, their home wil be single biggest purchase (and one they may spend 30 years paying off through a mortgage). While entering a lease is less of a commitment than buying property (typically residential leases are for a one- or two-year term), the terms of the lease specify the conditions under which you agree to live in (or let someone else live in) that property, and are therefore very important. The law also contains specific provisions that connect to your day-to-day life in your home.
