The Legacy of the 19th Amendment at 100

Join the American Bar Association (ABA) in celebrating the 100th anniversary of women’s constitutional right to vote through an exciting movement that educates the public about the history and legacy of the suffrage movement while inspiring people to understand and overcome barriers to voting.

Premiere Donor Recognition Opportunity:

  • A single donor of $6,000 will receive exclusive ABA recognition at Georgetown Law School’s 19th Amendment Centennial Commemoration event on February 10, 2020.  A prominent jurist will be the event’s featured speaker.  The program will be followed by a bountiful reception for 300 or more guests.  This recognition includes 2 guest passes to attend the event in addition to all the recognition benefits listed below.

Donors of $2,500 or more will be recognized for their generosity in the following ways:

  • High profile recognition throughout ABA Law Day 2020 (May 1st) – A Celebration of the 19th Amendment Centennial featuring:  resource kits for teachers and bar leaders, the Jaworski Public Program focusing on the Amendment’s ratification.  Thousands view/download the ABA’s Law Day materials each year.
  • Spotlight on the ABA’s 19th Amendment Centennial Website ambar.org/19th - A comprehensive resource for state and local bars, other legal organizations, civic partners, and teachers dedicated to conveying the story of women’s suffrage and its implications today. The website provides public education materials on modern voting and gender equality issues, and advocacy resources to better ensure all Americans are fully enfranchised.
