Join us for the 2018 Law & Democracy Community College Faculty Development Seminar hosted by the ABA Division for Public Education and Street Law.
Faculty participating in the seminar will be able to:
- Describe civic learning best practices;
- Explore multiple strategies for teaching law and democracy course content in their classrooms;
- Access resources from the American Bar Association Division for Public Education and Street Law to support teaching and student learning; and
- Network with other faculty and administrators with similar interests in civic learning.
Community college faculty from Chicago and the collar counties are invited to participate at no-cost. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
This seminar is funded through a grant from the McCormick Foundation to support professional development at community colleges in Chicago and its collar counties. Registrants who teach at colleges outside of this region will be required to submit a $30.00 registration fee.
