How to Find Bookmarks within Adobe PDF Materials

Option A: Download the Adobe PDF

  1. Download and open the Adobe PDF.
  2. On left side of the page, a vertical gray bar appears with a triangle halfway down the screen. Click the triangle and the left side bar will expand.
  3. Click the second icon (looks like the bottom of a ribbon) from the top of that bar and it will expand, exposing all the bookmarks in the document.
  4. Click the bookmark topic and the beginning page of that section will be shown to the right or simply scroll as you would with any other document.
  5. Click a different bookmark and jump to the start of that section.
  6. To close the bookmark list, click the triangle in the gray bar on the right of the bookmark list.

Option B: Open the document in Google Chrome browser

  1. Hover at top of document and a black bar will appear.
  2. On right side of the black bar, click on the icon on the far right.
  3. A dropdown menu of the bookmarks will appear.
  4. Click on any bookmark topic and the beginning of that section will be shown.
  5. Click a different bookmark and jump to the start of that section.
  6. To close the bookmark list, click the icon on the far right of the black bar at the top.

The table of contents is hyperlinked to each section. Simply hover over each of the topics, click, and jump to the start of that section within the document.
