Cancellation of Public Contract Law Federal Procurement Institute
As a result of the number of individuals who were compelled to cancel their participation due to employer imposed travel and meeting attendance restrictions, the ABA and the Public Contract Law Section have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's Federal Procurement Institute (FPI) & Midyear Council Meeting scheduled for March 11 – 14. We appreciate your patience as we have been carefully monitoring this dynamic situation. We will miss seeing all of you in Annapolis, but the health, safety, and well-being of our colleagues is our primary concern.
On behalf of the Section Officers, we appreciate the significant contributions that have been made by the Conference Director, Program Chairs, Speakers, and Sponsors in preparation for this year's meeting. We are exploring alternative programming opportunities so please stay tuned.
Please note the following regarding cancellation policies:
- Meeting: Cancellations for the FPI and ticketed events will automatically be processed, and refunds will be credited to you within the next few weeks using your original form of payment. For questions, please email Sean Dickerson or call him at 312.988.5699.
- Hotel: Please note that hotel reservations must be cancelled by the individual who booked the reservation as soon as possible to avoid any penalties or fees. Graduate Annapolis Hotel at 410.263.7777.
- Airlines: Please note that flight reservations must be cancelled by the individual who booked the reservation. It is up to the individual airlines if they will waive change fees or issue credits for the entirety of tickets.
Thank you for registering for the 2020 Federal Procurement Institute and for your support of the Public Contract Law Section. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to email me or call me at 571.214.2915 or email Section Director Patty Brennan or call her at 312.988.5623.
We look forward to seeing you July 30 – August 1, 2020 in Chicago for the Public Contract Law Section Annual Meeting, and, in the meantime, please stay well!
Chair, Public Contract Law Section
