IP Considerations When Acquiring a Government Contractor
Thursday, October 15 | Noon – 1pm ET
Code: 2028 8715 68#
In a joint meeting with the Mergers and Acquisitions Committee of the Public Contract Law Section, Locke Bell will moderate a panel of practitioners offering practical advice on what to look for and how to structure deals when acquiring a government contractor with valuable intellectual property or purchasing related assets.
From Bayh Dole subject inventions to data rights assertions, the panel will discuss the right questions to ask in due diligence and language to include in purchase agreements to make sure you're accurately valuing a target's IP and ensuring the full value of that IP survives the transaction, or on the other side, putting your best foot forward as a potential seller.
