The Mergers and Acquisitions Committee serves as a focal point and resource for attorneys working with corporate transactions in the government contracts space. We strive to track and assess and contribute pertinent developments in this area, including (a) novations, change-of-name agreements, and anti-assignment / change-of-control issues; (b) organizational conflicts of interest and their impact on corporate structuring; (c) the impact of transactions on contractor eligibility and responsibility; (d) evolving government contracts compliance issues creating due diligence risks; and (e) managing security requirements during the M&A process.
