The Government Construction Contracts Committee updates and educates section members on the latest developments in public construction contracting, including changes in laws and regulations and topics affecting the industry and its members—contractors, suppliers, design professionals, construction managers and owner agencies. The Committee seeks to stimulate commentary that may improve public construction contracting. Topics of focus include bidding public works contracts; contract terms; claims arising during contract performance, including equitable adjustments, terminations and changes; disputes and their resolution; subcontracting issues; surety bonds and insurance; professional design issues; project delivery methods; and false claims.
