The CPR Policy Implementation Committee focuses on implementation of the recommendations of the Commission on Evaluation of the Rules of Professional Conduct (Ethics 2000), the Multijurisdictional Practice Commission and the Joint Commission to Evaluate the Model Code of Judicial Conduct.
Links to background, commentary and updates about the negotiations between the countries (including the United States) that are subject to the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) agreement as members of the World Trade Organization. GATS applies to all trade in services, including professional services and thus legal services.
The recommendations of the ABA Joint Commission to Evaluate the Model Code of Judicial Conduct were adopted by the House of Delegates in February 2007.
