Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers - APRL
The Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers (APRL) was formed to meet the growing demand for expertise in the law of lawyering, which embraces the substantive and procedural rules governing every aspect of the practice of law. APRL's purpose is to provide a national clearinghouse of information about the latest trends and emerging needs in the areas of admissions standards, professional disciplinary standards and procedures and professional liability. APRL accomplishes this objective through seminars, books and articles designed for the academic, the practitioner, or law student, as well as through information networking. APRL represents a diversity of lawyers who concentrate on professional responsibility issues. The membership includes law professors, counsel for respondents in disciplinary hearings, expert witnesses, legal malpractice litigators and lawyers handling ethics matters for law firms. APRL seeks to provide a network of lawyers to share their expertise and ideas.
