What Does Professionalism Mean to You?

Professionalism means zealously advocating for our clients, while serving the profession with dignity and civility. Professionalism includes treating clients, adversaries, and all individuals involved in the legal process with respect, while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Professionalism means acknowledging that the practice of law is a noble profession and as such, treating all members of the bar and public with respect, dignity, and empathy. Professionalism means more than complying with the Rules of Professional Conduct. It means taking pride in the notion that we are officers of the court and as officers of the court must always act with higher ethics and morals because of the important role lawyers play in society to safeguard their state and the federal Constitution and to promote the rule of law.
