What We Do
The Center for Professional Responsibility is the locus of expertise on professional responsibility within the American Bar Association. Its publications have enjoyed singular success and are viewed as authority in the field. Work product of the Center is conceptualized, advised and produced with the beneficial guidance of the Center Publications Board, formed in 1994. The Board brings together advisors from its membership and from the various entities that reside in the Center. Its purpose is to situate all phases of publication planning and production within the broad bases of experience and knowledge found in the committees. The Board members advise and participate in publications projects from the initial design, to fully conceived models, through production. The Board provides a network to ABA sections and divisions with a contiguous interest in particular publications, as well as a means to identify and incorporate data and information from outside the Association.
