Dear Mr. Positan:

The Columbus Bar Association Board of Governors has voted to support the ABA's recommendations on Multi-Jurisdictional practice as presented in the report titled "Interim Report of the Commission on Multijurisdictional Practice."

While the Supreme Court of Ohio has not yet elected to enact the Model Rules of Professional conduct (either in its original form or as recently amended by the ABA House of Delegates), it is our recommendation that it do so. It is apparent that effective implementation of the ABA report on MJP depends on a change in the ethical rules governing attorney conduct in this state.

Sincerely,

Frank A. Ray
President
