Dear Mr. Simmons:

After carefully reviewing information submitted to me from the National Consumer Alliance, I concur that Multidisciplinary Practices (MDPs) would be most beneficial to the group with whom I work and agency I represent.

The Women’s Service Club of Boston, Inc. has been in existence since 1919 and is one of the state’s oldest organizations for women of color. It has provided to members of the community in a variety of ways. Some members of the organization and a large number of clients that we serve are becoming a part of the group of aging citizens with limited capabilities. They are retirees and unable to access the information and resources and ashamed to seek assistance. (MDPs) would allow collaboration of all needed services, as a one-stop operation that is important to senior citizens.

The Women’s Service Club further services a group of grandparents raising grandchildren. Facing many new obstacles that they confront, attempting to coordinate social services and legal services and even educational services have been confusing and almost impossible for some of them.

Again, may I offer my support to Multidisciplinary Practices.

Very Truly Yours,
Margaret Willis, Director
