Dear Mr. Garwin:
This letter is to encourage the American Bar Association (ABA) to provide more flexibility for multi-disciplinary practices and give small business owners like me another option in how we obtain professional services.
I own an independent insurance agency in Los Angeles. Like many small business owners, I rely on the services of several kinds of professional consultants. A substantial part of my time is involved in meeting with separate consultants and traveling to separate sites to take care of my business needs. It would be of great benefit if it were possible to go to one location, one time and get all those services together.
MDPs are a concept that is embraced by todays modern businesses. Please consider the needs of the clients, those who pay the lawyers bills, when you make your recommendation to the full ABA.
I appreciate your time in this matter.
