Dear Mr. Simmons:
On behalf of the 30,000 individual members of the National Council of Negro Women in New York and in other states, I would like to voice our support for the initiative launched by Consumer Alliance regarding the bar associations inclusion of multidisciplinary practices.
The National Council of Negro Women, like the Consumer Alliance, feels that multidisciplinary practices are good for consumers and businesses. Our 100-year-old organization was built on the principals of collaboration and teamwork. We pride ourselves on embracing the notion of strength in numbers and encourage other professions to do the same.
In closing the National Council of Negro Women is asking you to embrace multidisciplinary practices. As social and family pressures increasingly limit our time, the ability to go to one location to fulfill our legal, financial, and guidance needs has become crucial.
