The Civil Right to Counsel in Eviction Cases and Community Organizing: a networking lunch for advocates who are interested in an informal discussion about what kind of community organizing is (or is not) going on in localities around the country to secure a right to counsel in eviction cases, or that might lead to an RTC effort.  What types of housing advocacy organizations are there in your localities?  How do lawyers work with organizers?  Hosted by the NYC Right to Counsel Coalition in association with the National Coalition for a Civil Right to Counsel, with participation by organizers, tenant leaders, and attorney members of both coalitions.
