Biography
Bill McClure is an attorney at Pfau Cochran Vertetis Amala, PLLC in Tacoma, Washington. He litigates on behalf of individuals who have been harmed by medical malpractice or suffered other serious injuries. Based on his medical negligence practice, Bill has published multiple articles and a deskbook chapter about healthcare entity corporate negligence. He has also written law review articles on tribal taxation issues and on the intersection of property law and technology. Before entering private practice, Bill was a law clerk for the Honorable Lisa Worswick at the Court of Appeals of the State of Washington, Division II. Bill earned his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law. He was appointed to the ABA Standing Committee on Paralegals in 2022.
Statement
I wanted to serve on the ABA Standing Committee on Paralegals to promote and elevate the paralegal profession. As a practicing attorney, I am acutely aware of just how vital paralegals are to our legal team. Through the Committee’s work, paralegal education programs will continue to produce high caliber paralegals into the profession.
