Statement
I am the paralegal program director at the University of Toledo in Ohio and, like many directors, first became interested in the ABA Approval process when completing my first re-approval application and site visit. I gained such an appreciation for the ABA Guidelines for the Approval of Paralegal Education Programs and the men and women who write them. Studying and complying with these rigorous guidelines helped me to comprehensively review our paralegal program and engage administration, staff, faculty, students, graduates, and advisory board members in program organization, evaluation, planning and preparation. I have served as a Site Team Member for ABA Reapproval Site Visits in August 2019, March 2020, and October 2020. I am honored to have been nominated and appointed to serve on the Approval Commission and I look forward to serving.
