Adriana Matias graduated from Wright College’s ABA approved Paralegal Program in 2010 with an Honors Associates Degree in Applied Science. Adriana has been working for the City of Chicago Department of Law as a Paralegal II for nine years. She also currently serves as the Wright Collage Paralegal Program Board President. We are thrilled to highlight her wonderful success as a graduate of the Wright College Paralegal Program and continue to be grateful to her for her dedication to improving our program.
The road for me was not easy as a single mother of three working full time and going to school full time at night. But as King Arthur once said “Without sacrifice, there can be no victory.” I needed a livable wage career and I found my passion in law. The Wright College Paralegal Program provided me the education, support and resources needed to obtain my dream career. The education I received at Wright has been instrumental for me achieving my goals and being a successful paralegal. These last 9 years have been amazing working on behalf of the City of Chicago Department of Law. Working behind the scenes in court; supporting attorneys on various projects and managing a few of my own projects. I am blessed to have overcome all my personal obstacles in life and grateful to say I have achieved my dream career.
