The presentation will provide information that will enable attorneys to determine the valuation approach and standards that are suitable and in the best interests of their clients, depending on the type of transaction involved or the issues being litigated. It will include some examples of business valuation as it pertains to various legal matters including but not limited to divorce; sale or purchase of a business or business interest; buy/sell agreements; and estate, gift, and income taxes.
