Litigation News is now an all-digital magazine. To read the issue offline, click on the links above to download the latest issue in two formats:
- a fully illustrated and linked PDF, ideal for reading on a desktop or laptop computer, iPad, Android tablet, or Kindle Fire tablet.
- a specially designed EPUB, ideal for reading on an iPhone or Android smartphone; it is also perfect for an iPad or Android tablet if you want to increase the font size for greater readability.

Please note that to download these files, your membership to the ABA Litigation Section must be current and you must be logged onto the ABA website.
PDF Download Instructions
To download the PDF, you must be connected to the internet and have a PDF reader app installed on your device. Note: Many devices are not preloaded with such an app, or the app might have been deleted. For iOS devices, Books is one of the numerous free app choices you can install. For Android devices, Adobe Acrobat Reader is one of the numerous free app choices you can install.
- On a computer: Click here. If the PDF does not automatically download into your “Downloads” folder but only opens online, then click on the “Download” or “Save a Copy” icon (depending on your internet browser) to download the PDF file to your computer. Open the file with any PDF reader software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat Reader).
- On an iPad: Tap here to open the PDF online. Tap the “Share” icon (a box with an arrow pointing up) at the top of the screen, which will reveal a series of apps where you can copy the file (e.g., Copy to Books, Copy to Kindle). Tap the app you want to use, and the PDF will download and open in the app you selected.
- On an Android tablet: Tap here to download the PDF. The precise procedure for opening the file varies depending on the Android device, but likely either (1) you will go to your “Notifications”/ “Download Manager” and tap on the file, which will give you the option to “Open With" your choice of PDF reader apps installed on your device (e.g., Adobe Acrobat Reader); or (2) the file will appear automatically and you will tap the three-dot icon at the upper right of the screen to choose which app to “Open With”.
- On a Kindle Fire tablet: Use your computer to download the PDF per the instructions in the first bullet point above, then email the PDF file to your Kindle email address, which you can find by logging into Amazon.com and viewing the “Manage Your Kindle” section.
EPUB Download Instructions
To download the EPUB, you must be connected to the internet and have an EPUB reader app installed on your device. Note: Many devices are not preloaded with such an app, or the app might have been deleted. For iOS devices, Books is one of the numerous free app choices you can install. For Android devices, Google Play Books is one of the numerous free app choices you can install.
- On an iOS device (iPhone or iPad): Tap here. The precise procedure for opening the file varies depending on the version of iOS, but likely either (1) a dialog box will open, asking whether you would like to download the file; tap “download” and wait for the download arrow at the upper right to bounce down, then tap the arrow, select the file, and the EPUB will open in your default EPUB reader app (e.g., Books); or (2) a dialog box will open, asking you to choose the reader app you want to use (e.g., Books); tap the app you want to use, and the EPUB will download and open in the app you selected.
- On an Android device (smartphone or tablet): Tap here to download the EPUB.
