Keynote Luncheon Speaker
Linda Coberly chairs Winston & Strawn’s Appellate & Critical Motions Practice and serves as managing partner of the firm’s oldest and largest office. She has argued nearly 50 appeals—spanning eight different federal circuits, as well as state appellate courts across the country—and has served as “appellate lawyer at trial” in courts on both coasts. She has particular expertise in securities and financial fraud cases, product liability suits, administrative law, and class actions. She provides advice on strategic legal issues at all stages of litigation, from before trial to the U.S. Supreme Court, informed by her time as a clerk for Justice Stephen G. Breyer. Ms. Coberly Serves as a Director of Heartland Alliance (the Midwest’s largest human rights and anti-poverty organization) and as Vice President of the Board of Trustees of Chicago’s Goodman Theater. She is also the Chair of the Legal Task Force of the national ERA Coalition. She received an B.A. from Princeton and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.

Written substitutions will be permitted until Wednesday, October 30, 2019. After this date, substitutions must be made onsite. Substitutions are not permitted once a registrant has registered onsite or the Conference has occurred. Only the substitute will be eligible for CLE credit.
