2017 Diversity Leadership Award

The Fannie Angelos Program for Academic Excellence

The Fannie Angelos Program is a unique collaboration between the University of Baltimore School of Law and Maryland's four historically black colleges and universities (HBCU)—Bowie State University, Coppin State University, Morgan State University, and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. The program prepares HBCU students for admission to law school, and continues to work with them so that they may excel and thrive throughout their legal careers. It provides extensive LSAT preparation, one-on-one academic mentoring, individualized "whole life" support, and career counseling. The result is one of the most successful diversity programs for legal education. For more information, please visit http://law.ubalt.edu/admissions/diversity/fannieangelosprogram/index.cfm.
