Virtual ADR Is the New Reality: Share What You’ve Learned, Learn What You Need to Know Next
A Conversation Series

Covid-19 kicked off a revolution in virtual mediation and arbitration that won’t stop soon and in many ways is here to stay. The Section of Litigation’s ADR and Commercial and Business Litigation Committees want to help practitioners share best practices and learn from each other. Join mediator Jeff Kichaven, arbitrator and mediator Conna Weiner, and litigator, arbitrator and mediator Marc Zucker as they cohost a bi-monthly series of Zoom roundtables across related clusters of Section of Litigation Committees to help you get up to speed and learn from your colleagues. Our conversations will focus on both general and area-specific challenges and questions.

The idea behind this series is that thousands of practitioners in the Section, in different substantive areas with different needs, are either gaining experience in virtual ADR or will need to be prepared to jump into a virtual environment, and that a moderated forum to share ideas and learn best practices will be helpful and timely. In each of our bi-monthly sessions, we invite several other, related Committees to co-sponsor and designate a member as “lead” to help us moderate the conversation and to provide substantive input regarding how arbitration and mediation are and are not working in your field. The sessions will be in Zoom meeting format to maximize the ability of participants to share their experiences and ask questions.
